What Alternatives Are There For Infants And Children Suffering From Milk Allergy?

It is hard for a teenager to have milk allergy but still not unheard of. The condition is prevalent among little children and many people outgrow this condition as they grow older. Many children will have outgrown this allergy by the time they are 10 years old. For the babies who are most affected by this condition, the alternatives are there and a parent should just contact their child’s paediatric in order to get the right medication and the diet to be giving the baby.

One of the best options out is to avoid cow’s milk which is known to cause this allergy. Because the allergy caused by milk has no real cure, a person can only learn to use the alternatives at least until such a time that a treatment for the same is found. Here are some options that a teenager or a grown up person has in case they are suffering from this allergy.

Rice Milk: this is one of the best milk alternatives for those who suffer from any type of a milk allergy. It comes with a myriad of health benefits that even beats those that a cow’s milk has to offer. It comes with copper and iron which helps in oxygenating the blood more. There is also magnesium, Niacin, Vitamin B6 and non fattening ingredients. The latter can be a health candy for today’s youth who are becoming very prone to becoming obese.

Almond Milk: this is very special milk which has a lot of magnesium and which helps strengthen the bones and their overall health. It also contains Vitamin E which is a good antioxidant and protects the cell membranes. Almond milk is also a very good source of unsaturated fats, potassium, flavonoids and so much more that can be very beneficial to the health of a teenager. It is a bit rare and a person has to get used to its taste first.

Soya Milk: this is an extremely rich type of milk that is full of great heath components. A person will get lots of unsaturated fats, and cancer fighting ingredients inside it. It is also a good alternative for breastfeeding mothers. It is a good alternative for anyone with milk allergy although it might contain a tad higher content of sugar.

Coconut milk: this is rare milk in some places but its benefits are listless. It is cholesterol free and helps the body metabolise a lot faster. It helps the body beat away fat and thus a good way to keeping healthy. It contains lauric acid which is a rich component in human milk. A mother who has baby who is suffering from a milk allergy can try the coconut milk and can rest assured that the results will be excellent. The lauric acid has anti-viral and also anti-bacteria components which are very necessary for a baby.

In looking for the best alternative for cow’s milk or any milk that causes one to have a milk allergy, a person should obviously not look very far.
