Are You Looking For A Diet That Will Help Get Rid Of Your Belly Fat?
Hey! Are you tired of your ugly belly fat? And are you looking for a diet that will help you get rid of those ugly belly fats? If you are, then read on as this article may just be the answer to all your questions.
Your belly fat – it is that ugly bulge of skin, a little muscle, and lots of fat around your waist that keeps you from tucking your favorite t-shirt and blouse into your favorite jeans. It’s the same ugly “thing” that stops you from picking anything in the floor and makes you feel miserable as you try to put your socks on. It is that same ugly “thing” around your waist that makes you look like you are pregnant … and just plain ugly!
Is There Such a Diet That Can Finally Get Rid of Belly Fat?
There is, and this is according to two women named Liz Vaccariello who is the Editor-in-Chief of Prevention and Cynthia Sass, MPH, RD, the former nutrition director at Prevention. The diet, popularly called the Flat Belly Diet, actually requires that a person consume only a total of 1,600 calories each day. Moreover, the 1,600 calories must be from wholesome foods such as whole grains, fruits, and vegetables. The diet also restricts the consumption of red meat to at least once a month.
Now you might be wondering what makes this diet different from all the other diets, and what makes this diet so unique that it reduces or eliminates belly fat? The answer is simple: more than just consuming only a total of 1,600 calories per day, the diet also involves eating foods that help target the belly fats. Now you may be wondering what these foods are. Well, they are foods that are rich in monounsaturated fats, also known as MUFA’s. This is what the diet requires: the addition of foods rich in monounsaturated fats every single meal every day. So what are these foods that are rich or good sources of monounsaturated fats? They are as follows: avocados, olives, dark chocolate, seeds, nuts, flax, soybean, and also oils from olive and sunflower.
Things to Watch Out For
There are just a few things about this diet that dieters must know about. At the onset of the diet, bloating will be experienced, as well as constipation. This is just normal since the body is still adjusting with the new diet. Dieters are advised to drink flavored water to reduce the side effects of the diet. Flavored water can be made by simply mixing citrus, herbs, spices, and cucumbers. This will make a refreshing drink and will help ease the not-so-pleasant feeling at the start of the diet. Normally, this diet is done for 28 days.
Now if you really want to do this diet, it is best to consult your doctor first. He knows what diet is best for you!
